Solomon began with a simple discomfort. Most selective-exam coaching in Sydney rewards speed and volume — hundreds of students in a room, hundreds of questions per week, results measured by test scores alone. That model works for a few children. For most, it buries the reason they started studying in the first place.
We built something narrower. A single principal. A small cohort. Custom English-language materials written week by week, calibrated to the question style and difficulty profile of NSW's official Selective and Opportunity Class tests, and tuned to the exact content the students will face at their half-yearly exams. A homework platform we wrote ourselves, with three-tier hints, targeted follow-up practice for every missed question, and a monthly parent report in Korean.
For Korean-speaking families, we offer comfortable consultations in Korean. Each month we send a parent report summarising the student's strengths and weaknesses, and we plan the test preparation journey together with parents.
The goal is not to be the biggest tutor in Ryde. It is to be the one a student remembers — the one that built a habit of thinking carefully, not quickly.
Every student has a login. Homework is delivered, attempted, auto-marked, and reviewed through solomonacademy.com.au. Parents receive a monthly report in Korean — automated, accurate.
